North Caroline High School proudly presents A Night of One Acts featuring Murder at the Ballet, 13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview and Secrets. Murder at the Ballet is a murder mystery by Jeffrey Goffin produced by special arrangements with I.E. Clark.
Babe Archer is on the scene of a brutal attack at the ballet, a homicide! Archer is called to help find the person who killed Theresa; Star of the Grand National Ballet and the prime suspect is Babe’s secretary Vernon.
13 Ways To Screw Up Your College Interview, a short comedy by Ian McWethy and produced by special arrangements with Playscripts, Inc. Two college recruiters at a prestigious university need to fill up one last spot to keep their jobs. 13 dim-witted high school seniors are eager to come in for an interview. The recruiters think this is going to be a piece of cake until they experience nightmare filled with a practicing vampire, an amateur magician and a want-to-be reality TV show host.
Secrets is about young adults keeping secrets. It explores what happens when the secret comes out, and address serious topics like sexuality, molestation, and suicide. This drama is by KT Curran and The Source Teen Theatre and produced by special arrangements with Family Plays of Woodstock, Illinois. Warning: Secrets is not intended for a young audience. However, it will be performed last, so young audience members may still enjoy the other two one-acts.
