Deputy makes traffic stop..results in Heroin arrest for “intent to distribute” (2x ARREST MADE)

On August 5, 2015, Detective Corporal (CPL) J. Reibly, of the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet sport utility vehicle in the area of Andersontown Road @ Hobbs Road, Denton, Maryland. The passenger of that vehicle, Kelli Sue Jester, was found to be wanted on an Arrest Warrant through Dorchester County for Distribution of Drugs. Jester was taken into custody for the open warrant.

A search was conducted of the driver, Donell Maurice Acree, which resulted in a wax fold bundle of suspected Heroin being located in his pocket. A search of the vehicle revealed (5) additional wax fold bundles of suspected Heroin, along with several syringes and various other drug paraphernalia.

Total amount seized were 98 wax folds. The amount of suspected Heroin was indicative of the intent to distribute same. Both Jester and Acree was placed under arrest and charged with:

– Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute (20 years/$25,000 fine),
– two counts of Possession of CDS-Not Marijuana (each count 4 years/$25,000),
– Possession of CDS administer equipment (4 years/$25,000) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia ($500).

Jester was served with the warrant from Dorchester County and received a full $25,000 bond and held with NO BOND on the current drug charges. Jester is being held at the Caroline County Detention Center. Acree was released on a unsecured $25,000 bond from the commissioner’s office pending trial
