North County Branch in Greensboro Altered Books program

Caroline County Public Library’s North County Branch in Greensboro
September 25, 2015

Looking for a way to express your creative genius? The Caroline County Public Library’s North County Branch in Greensboro is happy to present its first ever Altered Books program on Wednesday, October 21, at 6:00pm. An altered book is any book, old or new that has been recycled by creative means into a work of art.

Books can be rebound, painted, cut, burned, folded, added to, made into a collage, gold-leafed, rubber stamped, drilled or otherwise adorned …the possibilities are endless! Each person will come up with a theme that will be evident throughout their book.

This is a great opportunity for our adult population to chat, create, network with others and create a great recycled art project. Supplies and instruction will be provided; just bring yourself and your ideas!

For more information or to register for this program, please call the library, 410-482-2173.
